Located beside the basketball courts just behind Building 80, the Urban Writing House is non/fictionLab’s space for all things creative and scholarly. Premised on thinking through making, it houses residencies, workshops, dinners, intimate public readings, and one-on-ones — events that thrive in the wide border space between research, practice, and the city. We’ve hosted residencies from international writers, visiting poets, industry partners and Higher Degree Researchers. We look forward to experimenting with new ways to see what this space can do and working collaboratively with other research centres.
