RMIT non/fictionLab is hosting US writer Nicole Walker for a week-long residency this November. Nicole Walker is a contributing editor at Essay Daily, a nonfiction editor at DIAGRAM, co-editor of Bending Genre: Essays on Creative Nonfiction, and author of Quench Your Thirst with Salt, This Noisy Egg, and Micrograms. as well as the forthcoming Egg (Object Lessons) and Canning Peaches for the Apocalypse. Nicole teaches nonfiction at Northern Arizona University and is a Vice-President of the international NonfictioNOW Conference.
As well as the public lecture, ‘Save the Planet: Write Nonfiction‘ on Monday 7th November, Nicole is also leading a two-part workshop on ‘The Braided Essay’ at non/fictionLab for students and researchers and participating in the Lab’s Posthumanism reading group. The Posthumanism reading group will be reading and discussing Nicole’s ‘Micrograms‘.
