The ‘idoc tool design’ project is running a workshop with Docuverse and we need your input to begin scoping out the design of a new open source tool for making interactive online documentaries. When? Friday 18 November 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. Where? Urban Writing House Rear of RMIT Building 80, (enter off Stewart St).
This project supported by the non/fictionLab is at the very beginning stage, which is why it is a great time to run a participatory workshop and get collective input from people who currently work with idoc tools, or are planning to work with them. The project leader Seth Keen will facilitate the workshop with the interaction designer/programmer Bhu Vidya who is currently working on this scoping phase.
Bhu and I want to know: What you like about the tools you are currently using? What you dislike about them? What your wish list is in regards to the functionality of a new tool? So, come along and get into the collaborative open source approach of designing an idoc tool that you would like to use.
RSVP to Seth if you are interested in attending.
