Writing for Publication Monthly Workshops
nonfictionLab presents monthly drop-in workshops with the aim of offering feedback on writing for publication. The workshops have a specific focus on assisting HDR students in developing the skills to write abstracts that will be accepted for conferences, assisting with writing effective conference papers, as well as adapting conference papers (and thesis/exegesis chapters) into published outcomes. The workshops include non-traditional writing and media outcomes (photo, sound, videographic, etc).

Write Write Write, Weekly and Monthly Group Writing Workshops
nonfictionLab’s essay node has focuses on practices that generate writing and publications, including weekly group writing sessions at Pearson & Murphy’s and a monthly essay workshop where work is shared and critiqued. The group and its workshops have been extremely well attended, with participants also sharing favourite essays via Google Drive.

Monthly Project Meetings
nonfictionLab monthly project meetings enable the development of interdisciplinary and team-based projects, bringing together researchers at different stages of their careers, and also supporting emerging projects from HDRs. The monthly project meetings, on the first Thursday of each month, enable small groups of interested people to get together informally to seek advice, form connections, and gain inspiration from planned and existing projects within the group.
Everyone is welcome, contact email@example.com for further information.
